The EEO1 Discrimination Calculator

The Discrimination Calculator will enable you to identify the extent of intentional employment discrimination based on race, ethnicity or sex for a specific occupation within a particular industry in a given Metropolitan Area.

The data used in these calculations was gathered by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) on EEO-1 forms. These forms are required to be filed annually by all government contractors with 50 or more employees and all employers with 100 or more employees. The work of analyzing these numbers and applying legal standards to them was done by a team led by Professors Alfred and Ruth Blumrosen through Rutgers University with a grant from the Ford Foundation. The Discrimination Calculator is made available to the public free of charge on this website (EEO1.com) by EEO1, Inc., a private company established to continue the analysis and application of workforce statistics to determine the extent of discrimination in the private sector of our economy.
